Empowering change through Applied Behavior Analysis
My name is Sharif Williams, and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and LP- Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. With over 20 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. I have had the privilege of working with youth, teens, adults, families, and couples, helping them navigate and overcome various challenges in daily life. In addition to my practice, I am an adjunct professor in the Special Education Master’s program at Yeshiva University, where I contribute to the education and training of future special educators. My commitment is to provide tailored support and effective strategies to promote well-being and growth for all my clients.
When it comes to supporting individuals and families with behavioral and learning challenges, personalized approaches can make all the difference. The power of personalized ABA programs is at the forefront of their services. My experience has also shown me that when tailoring programs for clients, traditional ABA and table work are not always effective. Drawing from the root of behavioral theory, I combine Applied Behavioral Analysis with psychodynamic theories, including play therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to assist clients as needed. Meeting the client where they are and providing what they need to succeed is our core philosophy.
At the core of our service is a belief that real, lasting change begins where it matters most—at home. By working directly in the client’s home, we create an environment where positive transformations can occur naturally and are supported by familiar surroundings. This approach allows us to involve the entire family in the process, making it more meaningful and sustainable.
We believe that creating a brave, supportive space from the very start is essential to success. As we guide families through this journey, we also embrace the idea that meaningful change requires openness from all involved. Together, we strive for growth, learning, and lasting improvement.
